Russ  
Hi. My name is Russ, and this is my wife, Fiona. We’ve been with Waterbridge Wealth since February 2022. Our adviser at that time was Howard Street, but it has now changed to Greig Godfrey.

Fiona  
We got in touch with Waterbridge initially because we needed help in a lot of areas of our finances, not just with the mortgage, but with the mortgage being the big one. We were paying interest-free only and coming to the end of the term, and were seriously concerned about how we would pay off that capital.

Russ  
The biggest obstacle was our mortgage. We were on interest-only payments on our mortgage coming to the end of its term, and we were concerned that we wouldn’t be able to manage the mortgage payments or pay off the mortgage once that interest-only payment ended.

Fiona  
We contacted Waterbridge after repeated conversations with some good friends of ours, who are clients of Waterbridge themselves, and they really thought that Waterbridge would be able to help us.

It’s probably the first time that we’d actually sat down with somebody else and laid everything on the table. There was no judgment at all from Howard, which immediately makes you think, “Yes, maybe this is the company that can help us.”

We transitioned from Howard to Greig probably about a year and a half ago. Howard was stepping more into the background in the company, so a few advisers came forward and changed a few clients. Greig and Howard both came to see us at home to explain the reasoning behind the change and introduce us to Greig. And Greig’s been spot on since we’ve been working with him – we’ve had absolutely no problems.

They’re there when you need them, when you don’t need them, they’re not. If you need any other services, they can provide that; we recently got pointed by Greig and some of the back-office team to someone who can write our will. We had no will, and we’ve now got one of those in place, and that was all through that relationship we’ve got with Waterbridge. We probably would have struggled had that not been in place. They’ve been excellent so far.

Fiona  
Working with Waterbridge has made me feel very confident and secure in our financial future. The help that they’ve given us has taken a lot of pressure off. We can live our lives without worrying about what’s going to happen to us as we get older, but also for our two boys when we’re no longer here.

Three words we would use to describe Greig, and probably Waterbridge as a whole, are honest, approachable, and non-judgmental.

I would highly recommend Waterbridge to anybody who is thinking about financial advice, or anybody who is struggling and needs expert advice. They’ve certainly helped us immensely, and for that, we’ll always be thankful, won’t we?
