Anne  
Hi, I’m Anne, and this is Rob. We’ve both been clients of Waterbridge since its inception, but we’ve been clients of Lee’s for almost 15 years.

Rob
The aspirations that I had, personally, from talking to a financial adviser was to get some idea around how we could aggregate our pension pots and look at when we could possibly retire, having set up a new business. We had worked for – we had teacher’s pensions, NHS pensions and various other AVCs, and we wanted to understand how to bring all that together.

Anne  
We first heard about Lee because our accountant recommended him as a good financial adviser. So, we started with Lee as an individual financial adviser, we stayed with him, and he’s now at Waterbridge.

He seemed to get us straight away, and he demonstrated early on that he understood our position, and where we were coming from. He demonstrated he understood what we needed and what we wanted, and he also made other suggestions that we perhaps hadn’t thought of, which is exactly what you want from a financial adviser.

Rob
In 2014 I was taken quite seriously ill, and we were in the middle of our own business at that time, so all the income was coming through the business. Lee managed to put our minds at rest and give us comfort in a time of big stress and practically set up a method that meant that we were getting some steady income during that time.

Anne  
Having the financial advice quite a few years ago meant that we had time to plan, put things in place and consolidate what we already had. We didn’t get to the position that we’re now in, in a panic about what we could or couldn’t do, because we know what we can do.

Rob
The three words that I’d use to describe Lee are cheerful, trustworthy, and actually I’m going to use two words to finish off: good fun.

In our sessions with Lee when he calls, like we’ve already mentioned, he’s always cheerful, and they’re really good fun. They’re really good fun. I know you’re dealing with important topics and aspects, but Lee manages to make it fun and it’s an enjoyable time.

Anne  
The best thing about working with Lee and the team, for me, is the confidence that I now have in our finances and what we’re doing when and what we can and can’t do. That helps me to feel very safe and very assured.

Rob
Working with Lee and the team at Waterbridge makes me feel comfortable and confident in our financial future. In actual fact, when we were discussing coming on to do this video, we’d forgotten how worried we were in the early days of our financial planning. Lee and the team at Waterbridge have put all that to rest.

I would recommend Lee and Waterbridge to anyone. We were in a situation where we were beginning to set up our business so that’s how we stumbled across Lee, but that isn’t necessarily the situation that other clients need to be in. I’m sure he would offer sensible, sound, financial advice to anybody in any situation. I would not hesitate to recommend Lee and Waterbridge.
